14: Jesus Takes Up His Cross |
| And when they had mocked him, they stripped him of the robe, and put his own clothes on him, and led him away to crucify him. | So they took Jesus, and he went out, bearing his own cross, to the place called the place of a skull, which is called in Hebrew Gol'gotha. | Two others also, who were criminals, were led away to be put to death with him. Whoever does not bear his own cross and come after me, cannot be my disciple. |
